The banned

(This BIO is Unofficially Approved by the Federal Witness Protection Program.)

Buckshot & John Deere aren’t just any boring cover band. hECK NO!

they’re two fugitives with guitars, hiding in plain sight ever since the Federal Witness Protection Program quietly un-witnessed them.

Their funding disappeared overnight after Elon Musk’s shadowy agency, D.O.G.E. (Department of Government efficiency), pulled their protection benefits in favor of “experimental rapid unscheduled rocket disassembly initiatives” located at starbase, texas on the gulf of america.

With nowhere left to hide except dive bars, senior living centers, your backyard, and the occasional abandoned grain silo with a farm girl, the fugitive duo turned to the only thing they’ve ever truly trusted:

  • outlaw storytelling

  • raw guitar twang-chugs

  • and harmonies strong enough to set off a multi-state manhunt.

Their music is soaked in everything they’ve survived: dusty highways, questionable diners, anonymous motel rooms, and at least three encounters with bounty hunters who turned out to be big fans.

Each show is part concert, part confession, and entirely likely to violate the terms of their former federal nondisclosure agreements.

Rumor has it that Buckshot writes songs by candlelight in safehouses no one has discovered yet, so that he can ‘send hidden messages’ to their secret contact that’s working to reinstate their witness protection status and keep them save.

meanwhile, John Deere tunes his guitar by the hum of approaching drones while enjoying the company of the many farm girls he’s frended through his ‘farmers-only’ dating app.

Together, they create a sound described by critics as “Johnny Cash meets a malfunctioning GPS,” and by law enforcement as “not our jurisdiction anymore.”

Catch them while they’re running though your backyard.
Not just because they’re a one-of-a-kind and unforgettable show —
but because they might have to disappear again.
